Obit: Clark, Susanna Ellen - daughter of Samuel and Margaret Allison, was born in Gila county, Ohio, on Feb. 22, 1845 and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ira Ball in this city, Saturday, January 22, 1927, aged 81 years and 11 months. She was united in marriage to Dr. Noah S. Clark, Sept. 21, 1865, and to them were born eleven children, viz: Albert G. Clark of Alva, Okla; Mrs. Maggie J. Williams of Clay City; Ellsworth N. Clark of Salem; Oscar E. Clark of Odell; Mrs. Flora Ball of Newton; Mrs. Lucy McKinney of Bogota; Mrs. Belle Clark of Newton. There are also twenty-seven grandchildren. Her husband and four children preceded her in death. Deceased had lived in Kedron vicinity and at Newton for over 54 years...Funeral services were held at Sandy Creek Christian church, Monday morning, January 24 at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.E. G or E, 1st Regiment OH Heavy Artillary Volunteers, enrolled August 23, 1862 and Discharged June 20, 1865 at Knoxville, TN age 23, 5' 9", fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair.
