He married (second) Elizabeth (Woodhouse) Meriwether, widow of Nicholas Meriwether.”

Mary, daughter of Henry Browne, married William Browne of Southwark Parish, Surry County.
There is a deed, dated December 3, 1695 and recorded in Surry County from "William Browne, Jr." son and heire of Mrs. Mary Browne, deceased, the only heir of Col./ Henry Browne, deceased. William Browne, Sr., Mary's husband, was probably her first cousin (nephew of Henry Browne, Esq. her father)

Elizabeth may be daughter of Henry Woodhouse II or of Thomas, Henry’s first cousin. Both had daughters named Elizabeth(p28)
The Meriwether Society no longer considers Elizabeth to be a Woodhouse but a member of the great Unknown family!
