Daniel Allison brought his family to Walnut Grove in Woodford County Illinois in 1831. Came from Ohio, settled in Montgomery Twp, north of the village of Farnisville, the year before the Black Hawk war where he lived until his death. He died in April, 1864 at 86, member of M. E. Church for 50 years.

1850 & 1860 Census Illinois Woodford County says Daniel born in NY. Daniel is living with Isaac in 1860.
