“merchant, burgess for Elizabeth City in 1632 and in 1639 was burgess for Lower Norfolk county. He died about 1644. Seawell’s Point on the Elizabeth river is named for him. He left a son , Henry......and a daughter, Anne, who married Colonel Lemuel Mason (q.v.)
