(OBIT: Rooks, Goldie - Miss Goldie Rooks, aged 15 years, died at the family home in South Muddy township, Thursday and was laid to rest in the local cemetery near where she resided.
She is survived by her mother Mrs. Ura McKinney, step-father, brother Harry Rooks, grand-parents Mr. and Mrs. George Hepner and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rooks besides numerous other relatives. Miss Goldie was a bright and lovable young woman, with a wide circle of friends who will hear of her death with sincere regret. The Newton Press, Jan 29, 1918
