John Cocke, for sedition against the crown of England, placing Cromwell on the throne, was apprehended and beheaded by the heirs of King Charles. Three Cocke brothers came over to America - William, Thomas and Douglas. Afterwards, the son of John Cocke, who was beheaded, joined his uncles. This was Walter Cocke.
